Who can attend an FMT Certification?

Anyone can attend our courses (from students to medical professionals)! It is recommended that you practice within your scope. If unsure, please reach out to your governing board for assistance.

I have taken other Kinesiology taping courses, can I skip FMT Basic and take FMT Advanced?

Unfortunately not. Our FMT BASIC kinesiology taping certification lays the foundation for understanding FMT’s approach to kinesiology taping and outlines many of the differences in taping applications vs other courses. There will be new things to learn and other taping applications to ‘unlearn’ before moving onto FMT ADVANCED. For this reason, we require you to take the FMT BASIC course before moving onto the FMT ADVANCED course.

How long do my FMT certifications last?

As long as you do.

How many continuing education credits (CEUs) are available for each course?

Depending on class size, state regulations and focus, CEUs may be offered for our courses. Please see the CEU details for specific classes which can be found under any course listing on www.fmtplus.com.

How do I get listed as an FMT certified online provider?

Once you attend an FMT Certification Course you will receive an email with a link to the form you need to complete to be listed on our site. Please remember that you must have made a purchase of products before being listed. Your name will then appear in our ‘Find a FMT Certified Provider” search.

Can I use RockTape's FMT Certification names, logos to display my certification?

Yes, you can and you should! Feel free to take them directly from our pages.
